Terms of Service

The service

Data Matrix Generator (data-matrix-generator.com) is a website that makes Data Matrix barcodes in your browser. Single codes are free. You are responsible for checking that printed codes scan and meet the rules of your application (for example GS1) before you use them on products. Data Matrix Generator Pro is an optional paid plan, described on the pricing page.

Who sells it

Payments are handled by Waffo, which acts as the merchant of record. It is the seller on your receipt, processes the payment and handles sales tax or VAT. Its own terms apply to the checkout.

Your license

• Buying Data Matrix Generator Pro gives you a license key for a one-time price of US$19.90. It does not renew.
• You may use it for personal and business purposes.
• One key works in up to 3 browsers or devices at the same time. The license is stored in each browser. Clicking “Remove license key” in a browser frees that slot. Please don’t share your key publicly.
• We may stop a key that has been published or is clearly being resold.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid, if any.
