About Data Matrix Generator
A Data Matrix and GS1 DataMatrix generator that runs in your browser.
What it is and who it is for
Data Matrix Generator makes Data Matrix ECC 200 barcodes as PNG or SVG, checks GS1 element strings, and prints batches on Avery label sheets. It is for people who label parts, stock, samples and products and want a code without installing label software. Start with the Data Matrix generator, the GS1 Data Matrix generator or the label sheet maker. Symbol sizes and GS1 rules on the pages come from the GS1 General Specifications.
How it works
The codes are made by JavaScript in your browser with bwip-js, an open-source port of Barcode Writer in Pure PostScript. The text you type and the CSV files you load are processed on your device and are not sent to a server. There is no account, and the site sets no cookies. Details are in the privacy policy.
What is free and what is paid
Single codes and batches of up to 5 are free. Data Matrix Generator Pro adds batches of up to 1,000 codes for US$19.90, paid once. See the pricing page and the refund policy.
